Thanks to Canon’s newly developed Consistently Vivid (CV) toner, the imagePRESS C600 not only ensures higher quality, but also faster print speeds (60 pages per minute). Both transfer efficiency and color consistency have been improved to enable perfect reproduction of true-to-life colors and uniform results on a wide range of different media in a cost-saving way, even under heavy use.

Equipped with a compact and extremely precise paper registration technology (CRT), consisting of a combination of digital sensors and register rollers, the imagePRESS C600 guarantees first-class results regardless of the number of media to be printed. Each sheet is automatically aligned during the printing process so that shifts in the printed image on the sheets can be avoided and the highest quality is guaranteed at all times.

The imagePress C600 also has a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting (VCSE) laser unit, which achieves a resolution of up to 2,400 x 2,400 dpi, resulting in vivid images and ensuring even more precise reproduction of images and text while maintaining consistently high quality. In addition, image distortion compensation improves the digital scale up and down, allowing the operator to customize the print image. The VCSE laser unit also allows the user to select from various grid patterns, which lead to the creation of new dot grid patterns. These improve the quality of every print application and enable the printing of breathtaking images.

Last but not least, the improved color calibration of the imagePress C600 ensures exceptional print quality. As the first production press to feature ACCT (Auto Correct Colour Tone), Canon’s imagePRESS C600 is equipped with technology that enables color matching with a wider color palette, ensuring consistent color reproduction, whether for text or images, and ultimately the production of high quality printed products. Color calibration is carried out in real time using ARCDAT (Automatic and Reciprocal Color Density Adjustment Technology). This technology, which regulates the gradation and density during image transfer and offers an improved display of halftones while maintaining the same quality, ensures that overall productivity is not reduced.
